Ride of the Luminary

Here's my fourteenth Millennium fan music video I made. This was a tricky video to make, as I had computer problems when making this video and it affected a few videos after that. But I made it work after much hardship. It was my intention from the start to focus on Frank's journey in the wilderness and delete anything else from it. I cut around Peter Watts in the end to separate that part of the episode from the video. I was always going to use a Tangerine Dream track, but finally found one that wasn't too epic although it was long enough. I just had enough footage to make the guitar solo signify the aurora borealis. I tried as well to make a cool transition linking four shots together. It works well but still doesn't live to up what I tried to do. I had a night time shot of the mountain, stars shot, moon shot and a shot of the flashlight going out. I did darken the image a bit to make it more seamless this time around. And as I want Frank Black to look the best, I didn't show the scene where they drop into the river. Plus, I had enough material to work with anyway.

All the footage is taken from Luminary, episode twelve from season two of Millennium.
The track is called Ride on the Ray by Tangerine Dream. I titled the video: Ride of the Luminary. Enjoy!

NOTE: The video looks a bit dodgy in a couple of places. Thus, I'm offering a download of the video in MPEG-4 format. It's a little bit over 110 MB in size. The link might become a dud in the future if people don't download it within a certain time limit.

Click here to download the video.

Cheers from Iceland!
