Sliders meets Millennium

Millennium fan music video number forty-seven. I was inspired by all the great mashup videos I've seen on YouTube, where vidders take music from a TV show and put it against another show and mimic the style of the original show.

I had great fun with this one, it took me some time gathering all those little bits here and there. I used the theme intro from season two of Sliders, and a few snippets from that as well. I generally followed the editing style of that one but strayed a little bit from it here and there. The biggest challenge was to decide what characters to use as substitutes for the Sliders characters. And to find the most outrageous shots to match the parallel worlds on the Sliders show.

Footage is taken from various episodes from all three seasons of Millennium plus the vortex shots from Sliders. The track is the theme song for the TV series Sliders (taken from season two) by Anthony Marinelli & Stephen Graziano. Enjoy!

NOTE: The video looks a bit dodgy in a couple of places. Thus, I'm offering a download of the video in AVI format. It's about 14 MB in size. The link might become a dud in the future if people don't download it within a certain time limit.

Owls & Roosters Trailer

Millennium fan music video number forty-five. This was done by request from the good people who frequent the Millennium Group Facebook page. Mark Hayden suggested a trailer to mix things up a little bit. So, I chose to take on Owls & Roosters and turn it into a trailer.

This was tricky to make, how to introduce the Cross and the two sides of the Millennium Group using a three minute track. Somehow, I managed to do just that.

All the footage is taken from Owls and Roosters, episode fifteen and sixteen from season two of Millennium. The track is called Easy Ride by Madonna. Enjoy!

NOTE: The video looks a bit dodgy in a couple of places. Thus, I'm offering a download of the video in AVI format. It's about 40 MB in size. The link might become a dud in the future if people don't download it within a certain time limit.

No Easy Exegesis for The Innocents

Millennium fan music video number forty-four. I did this video to kick-start the new year with all the nice people over at the The Millennium Group Facebook page.

I had this idea to combine what Peter Watts said about people who could see different paths and the viewers in the first two episodes of Season 3.
I put that down, and I found this track that Mark had suggested for Luminary way back in the fall of 2009. And the beginning fit well with that über-vision, I was sure I could work with the rest and place dialog in the instrumental bits of the track.

All the footage is taken from The Innocents and Exegesis, episode one and two from season three of Millennium. The track is called Easy Ride by Madonna. Enjoy!

NOTE: The video looks a bit dodgy in a couple of places. Thus, I'm offering a download of the video in AVI format. It's about 80 MB in size. The link might become a dud in the future if people don't download it within a certain time limit.

Far Above Borrowed Time

Millennium fan music video number forty-three.

I recently saw a montage video from Borrowed Time by teedub (Terri Wilson) over at the TIWWA forums.

I was inspired and decided to listen to some music I thought would work with the episode. I gathered all the shots, pretty much the whole episode, I thought were montage worthy.

I had one version where it was much more like a recap than anything. So, I cut out some scenes and focused on Frank/Jordan and Samiel/girl on train. I think it was the right choice. I know, it's a bit strange by the end, but it works in a strange way, I hope.

All the footage is taken from Borrowed Time, episode ten from season three of Millennium. The track is called Far Above the Clouds by Mike Oldfield. Enjoy!

NOTE: The video looks a bit dodgy in a couple of places. Thus, I'm offering a download of the video in AVI format. It's about 78 MB in size. The link might become a dud in the future if people don't download it within a certain time limit.
