Above Dead Letters

Here's my third Millennium fan music video I made. I was trying at the time to do them in chronological order, so episode three from season one was very logical but I had trouble finding a track for it. I checked all my CDs (yup, I browsed through all of them, I was desperate) and finally found this track on an album I recently had bought. It was a very powerful track, which could well drive the rage of Jim Horn (James Morrison's character in the episode). But there was one catch, the track was less than three minutes. I try my best to tell a story or that the video makes sense. I just managed to come up with this and while it was not my finest hour I do like the latter half of it. I did heighten Jim Horn's rage with subliminal flashes of the crime scenes and his son (usually they were zoomed in as well). And I slowed down that next to last shot of Frank Black so it would be longer, not because it was cool (but it was much cooler and all the better for it, happy accidents). I probably would have used that shot when Jim Horn sees orange Volkswagen everywhere, but the program I was using at the time was picky about certain chapters it could rip or not. So, that did shape how I had to do some of my early videos, until I switched to a better program which I still use today.

All the footage is taken from Dead Letters, episode three from season one of Millennium. The track is called Above by Blue Man Group. I titled the video: Above Dead Letters. Enjoy!

NOTE: The video looks a bit dodgy in a couple of places. Thus, I'm offering a download of the video in MPEG-4 format. It's about 40 MB in size. The link might become a dud in the future if people don't download it within a certain time limit.

Click here to download the video.

Cheers from Iceland!
